2019 Picture Books: The ABCs

  1. My library just picked up Alis the Aviator by Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail. Alis, based on real-life pilot Alis Kennedy, walks the reader through an ABC of both famous and lesser-known aviation inventions with simple rhyming text and bright, clear cut-paper illustrations. Nice to see an ABC that isn’t just animals!
